In this role, you act as part of a global System Integration capability, supporting strategically important, complex, or high-risk projects. You ensure that functionality, performance, and availability are delivered to the highest standard. Depending on project requirements, you either take full integration responsibility for selected strategic projects or strengthen existing System Integration structures during critical phases. Operating globally and independently of unit structures, the role is dedicated to selected high-impact projects, ensuring deep involvement and avoiding parallel multi-project allocation.

What You'll Be Handling

  • Responsibility for system integration in strategic and complex international projects
  • Support or full takeover of integration responsibility during critical phases
  • Ensuring contractual functionality, performance, and availability targets
  • Synchronization of Mechanical, PLC, and IT disciplines at system level
  • Validation of simulation models, test strategies, and integration concepts
  • Active involvement in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and ramp-up
  • Resolution of cross-disciplinary integration challenges
  • Transfer of best practices across business units through hands-on project involvement

What You'll Need

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, University, or equivalent)
  • Several years of experience in system integration or commissioning of automated logistics systems
  • Strong knowledge of MFC, WCS, WMS, PLC, SCADA, and IT systems
  • Experience with simulation and emulation tools
  • Ability to analyze complex customer business processes
  • High technical credibility and strong communication skills
  • Fluent English (German is an advantage)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~35%)
  • Structured and solution-oriented mindset
