Proactive Global currently has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift/Warehouse Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Reading. The ideal candidate will be helping in recording stock movement, picking and packing of goods, lifting goods and placing them to their designated places. The candidate must have a forklift license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
  • Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
  • Operate saws and handle steel.
  • Transfer stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes.
  • Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customer orders.
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.

Rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday - 5.00am to 1.30pm then Monday to Friday 12.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
