Proactive are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock throughout the warehouse.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure materials and finished goods are stored, picked, and dispatched accurately.
- Prepare and process customer orders for dispatch, ensuring products are picked, packed, and shipped on time.
- Receive inbound deliveries, checking quantities and product condition against delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, resolving any delivery or stock discrepancies where required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Strong forklift operating experience, including loading, unloading, and stock movement.
- Experience coordinating warehouse operations, deliveries, and dispatch activities.
- Good understanding of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
