Production Operative in Ferndown

Proactive Global are currently recruiting for an Production Operator with Soldering Experience to join a well-established company specialising in electrical inspection, testing, compliance and safety services.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling electrical components and parts according to instructions and specifications.
• Carrying out soldering work on electrical components, wires and circuit boards.
• Using hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Identifying and reporting faulty components or assembly issues.
• Following health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and tidy working environment.
• Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth production processes.

Skills:

• Previous experience in assembly and soldering is preferred.
• Proven soldering skills and good manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work to specifications.
• Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment.
• A methodical and organised approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation, reliability and good timekeeping.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing or production environment.
