The predicted salary is between 26400 - 52800 Β£ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team in Egham, to be responsible for technical support on our products and design of basic single phase electrical panels and preparation of drawings and electrical schematics. This is an office-based role, and you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing schematic and GA drawings for single phase electrical panels.
- Conducting functional tests and electrical inspection checks of custom designed electrical panels.
- Providing technical support to customers for the resolution of faults/issues with supplied hardware/software.
- Providing technical support to company Field Engineers, Admin and Workshop Technicians.
- Investigating product failures and warranty issues to determine root cause and identify preventative measures.
- Contribute to the development of Product Test Procedures.
- Generate Technical Documentation.
It is essential that as well as being able to prepare a design in AutoCAD, you are also able to layout and specify all the components of an electrical panel. A good knowledge of single-phase electrical panels is also essential. You will be a confident and professional communicator, who can develop successful working relationships. You will be computer literate, able to work under pressure in changing circumstances and driven to deliver an outstanding service.
