Position: Electrical Technician Salary: £35,000 – Depending on experience Location: Cambridge Proactive are currently in search of multiple skilled Electrical / Mechanical Technicians to start work immediately for a client of ours in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity working for a world leading manufacturing company, offing ample opportunity for career progression and development. The main focus of this role will be to ensure products meet the required safety and quality standards, technicians are responsible for assembling mechanical or electrical assemblies / machines. This involves using various hand tools, manufacturing aids, systems, commissioning, and processes to adhere to the current production schedule. Principal Responsibilities: Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications to assemble the equipment. troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and electrical circuits and electrical/mechanical assemblies. To lead by example in ensuring at all times safe systems of work and thorough due process. To test and maintain products on behalf of R&D from time to time proving feedback to help develop and improve new and existing product range.
