Production Operative in Cramlington

Position: Production Operative Location: Cramlington We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Cramlington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production environment where you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of mechanical and electrical products. The successful candidate will receive training and work as part of a supportive production team. The role will involve a combination of hands-on assembly, soldering, PCB work, product testing and operating manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical and electrical products in line with manufacturing instructions and safety procedures Carry out hands-on assembly using a range of handheld tools Complete PCB assembly and associated production tasks Perform hand soldering, including through-hole components Assemble finished products to the required specification Carry out functional and quality testing of completed products Work as part of a production team to achieve daily targets Complete quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process Accurately complete relevant production and quality documentation Operate machinery and equipment as required, including metal press equipment Follow all company health and safety procedures Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environmentSkills: Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred Soldering Expereince Practical, hands-on approach to work Good attention to detail and concentration Comfortable working with hand tools and production equipment Good team-working skills Able to follow instructions and established processes accurately Able to work efficiently in a target-driven environment Willingness to learn new processes and develop manufacturing skills Comfortable standing and working on your feet for the majority of a shiftHow to Apply: If you're interested in this Production Operative opportunity and would like to find out more, please get in touch with our recruitment team for an informal discussion.
