Position: Warehouse Operative W/ Forklift

Salary: £13.25 - £14.90 per hour

Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to begin work for a leading business in Milton Keynes. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever-growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Warehouse Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and exciting influx of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking in of goods and materials
  • Appropriately storing of stock
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Document control - Update and maintain all inbound and outbound records
  • Forklift driving - loading & unloading of deliveries
  • Participate in cycle counts and manage stock queries
  • Identify stock that is in the wrong location and escalate as required
  • Ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Valid counterbalance license and reach truck licenses
  • Willingness to do manual warehouse related work (70% manual / 30% on FLT)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a member of a small team
  • Able to start work ASAP

Additional Info:

  • Hours: Day shift 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday or something similar
  • Start date: ASAP
