Contract: Temporary to Permanent
This is a physically demanding role, working for the full 8-hour shift in a freezer maintained at -26°C. Full thermal clothing and PPE are provided, along with regular warm-up breaks throughout the shift.
The role includes:
- Picking customer orders within the freezer.
- Walking long distances throughout the shift.
- Pushing a picking cage while collecting stock from warehouse locations.
- Working to productivity and accuracy targets.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Candidate requirements:
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Able to work in a -26°C freezer for the full shift (with scheduled warm-up breaks).
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is preferred, ideally within a chilled or freezer environment.
- Reliable, motivated and able to work night shifts and weekends as part of the rota.
