What You'll Be Doing
- Controls Design & Development
- Lead the controls design for complex automated material handling systems
- Develop PLC software using Siemens S7 / TIA Portal
- Design HMI and SCADA solutions aligned to project standards
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical design inputs
- Emulate control systems in virtual / 3D environments to validate performance
- Carry out structured software testing prior to site deployment
- Ensure all systems meet Machinery Directive & CE compliance
- Produce detailed technical documentation (design specs, risk assessments, O&M manuals)
- Support and lead controls commissioning activities on-site
- Act as a senior technical authority within the project team
- Mentor and support other controls engineers
- Drive continuous improvement in controls design standards and delivery
