Proactive are currently recruiting for an Electromechanical Assembly Operative to join a leading manufacturer company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering business offering long-term stability, training, and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of electromechanical components including contactors, MCBs, RCBOs, sensors, wiring harnesses, and PCBs
  • Electrical wiring, routing, termination, and soldering in line with engineering drawings and schematics
  • Reading and working from technical documentation, including BOMs and wiring diagrams
  • Ensuring all work meets required electrical safety and quality standards, including correct insulation and earthing
  • Using hand tools, crimping tools, and soldering equipment for precise assembly work
  • Supporting continuous improvement in build quality, efficiency, and process flow
  • Working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet deadlines

Skills:

  • Experience in soldering, crimping, or electrical assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or wiring diagrams
  • Confident using hand tools and electromechanical assembly equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to work
