Assembly Technician Required in Milton Keynes - Start ASAP
Duties:
- Bench assembly of a variety of electro-mechanical subcomponents using basic hand tools.
- Preference for candidates with previous experience in a clean-room environment, although this is not essential.
- Familiarity with a variety of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, spanners, measuring equipment, etc.
- Experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical tools (strippers & crimpers) and basic wiring is an advantage but not essential.
- Building, testing, and packing of high-end pneumatic units.
- Assembling from start to finish using assembly procedures and product specifications.
Required Experience:
- Previous assembly experience, preferably mechanical & electrical.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A tolerance to the smell of glue.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
Additional Info:
- Hours: Tues - Thurs 07:00 - 17:00 & Fri 07:00 - 16:30 (30 min unpaid lunch each day) - optional overtime generally available on Mondays.
- Rate/Salary: £13.20-14.80 per hour.
- Start Date: ASAP.
