Proactive Global currently has an exciting opportunity for a Punch Press Setter/Operator to begin work for a leading manufacturing business in Amersham, HP6. The ideal candidate will be helping in set up, change tooling, and efficiently operate punch press machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch press machinery to produce precision metal components
- Work primarily with mild steel, with occasional jobs involving stainless steel and aluminium
- Interpret technical drawings and adjust machine settings accordingly
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Preferred Skills:
- Technical Savvy: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical design drawings.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with a supportive team environment.
Monday to Thursday - 7.30am - 4.45pm - Friday 12pm finish
