We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in Axiom ControllerView (AxiomSL), SQL, and Regulatory Technology to support the development and enhancement of regulatory reporting solutions. This role sits within a fast-paced, Agile delivery environment and focuses on building robust, auditable, and high-performing data pipelines. You will play a key role in translating regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring data quality, traceability, and compliance across reporting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain regulatory reporting solutions using Axiom ControllerView
- Configure and optimize Axiom objects, workflows, and data processing components
- Build and enhance SQL-based data transformations, validations, and reconciliations
- Develop performant, scalable data pipelines aligned with regulatory and audit requirements
- Ensure strong data quality, lineage, and control adherence across all reporting processes
- Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into clear technical implementations
- Support platform upgrades, deployments, and production issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Agile delivery ceremonies
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on stability and accuracy
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Axiom ControllerView (minimum 2 years)
- Strong SQL skills with experience handling large and complex datasets
- Experience in Regulatory Technology or financial/regulatory reporting environments
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, data quality frameworks, and data lineage
- Experience working within Agile delivery models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Basel, Liquidity, Capital, or Financial Reporting
- Experience with Python, Java, or other Scripting languages
- Familiarity with scheduling and automation tools
- Experience supporting production regulatory platforms
Hybrid working model: minimum of 3 days per week on-site in London.
