The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on solving business challenges through software, automation and AI. This is a highly varied role combining hands-on engineering with business engagement. Approximately 60% of your time will focus on designing, building and delivering software solutions, with the remaining 40% spent working directly with stakeholders across finance, operations and other business functions to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
You'll take ownership of problems from discovery through to delivery, running workshops, gathering requirements and developing practical technology solutions that create measurable business impact. Working in small, autonomous teams, you could be developing an internal application one day and collaborating with senior stakeholders to redesign a process or explore AI-driven automation opportunities the next. The role is fully remote or hybrid depending on preference, with occasional travel to UK offices for workshops and collaboration.
