Microsoft 365 Support Engineer 12 Month FTC – up to £47,500 – Remote (occasional site visits)

Our Exeter based client are looking to onboard an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator on an initial 12 month FTC basis. The right candidate will have experience configuring, maintaining and administrating the M365 platform and will provide support to all end users across the business.

Key responsibilities:
  • Administer MS365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory), ensuring optimal use and E5 license integration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance MS365 usage.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint, including app integration, library creation, access control, and permissions.
  • Maintain SharePoint and intranet; troubleshoot issues and support end-users with training.
  • Perform data backups, clean-ups, and archiving to ensure data integrity and storage efficiency.
  • Analyse usage reports to optimize user experience and stay current with SharePoint and Teams developments.
  • Manage Teams service, including group creation, meeting and messaging policies, and organization-wide settings.
  • Oversee team settings, memberships, and device configurations via Teams admin centre and PowerShell.
  • Coordinate access reviews and troubleshoot user call quality issues using advanced tools.
  • Access and analyse Teams admin reports; manage tenant app catalogue publications.
Experience and qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with SharePoint is required.
  • Previous experience working with MS Teams is required.
  • Managing Microsoft SharePoint and Teams Training.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 products.
  • Knowledge of ITIL would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio).
