Our client, a global bank, has an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Business Analyst to join on an initial contract until the end of 2026 with a view to extending.
In this role you will:
- Work in the International Controllers change management team on a specific timebound project, assisting with the development of key APAC regulatory reporting requirements primarily.
- Focus on the deliveries required for a Reporting Project as well as other internal APAC initiatives and the build out of the strategic Axiom infrastructure that feeds these requirements.
- Assist in writing user stories to reflect the business requirements of various regulatory reporting modules and liaise with technology team members through Agile scrum methodology to ensure requirements are understood.
- Ensure, where possible, that operational risk through manual processes is minimised, leveraging digital tools (Alteryx, Power BI etc) to develop automated solutions where technology solutions are unavailable.
- Analyse regulatory guidance and provide SME insights when forming requirements for reporting modules, challenging existing approaches in a thoughtful manner where appropriate to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Assist in documenting processes and decisions as part of project delivery to reporting teams.
