Weβre looking for an Operations Analyst with deep experience in Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto SDWAN, and Prisma Access, backed by solid routing/switching fundamentals. Bonus points if you bring F5 Load Balancer expertise to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise and resolve KTLO (Keep The Lights On) tasks with efficiency.
- Provide Tier-2 support for network-related incidents and problems.
- Manage and maintain network uptime, stability, and performance.
- Own high-priority issues and lead problem management efforts.
- Install and configure networking equipment using predefined methods.
- Ensure proper documentation of all policies, changes, and knowledge assets.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and cross-functional teams.
- Offer technical guidance on network security and optimisation.
- Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Engage with ITIL-aligned processes (change, audit, etc.).
- Be available for 24/7 rotational on-call support.
Skills required:
- Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Prisma Access, SDWAN).
- Routing & Switching (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs).
- Firewall & SASE Technologies.
- F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM) β highly desirable.
- SSL VPN & IPSec tunnels (GlobalProtect, F5 BigIP Edge).
- LAN/WAN architecture and protocols.
- Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SevOne, etc.).
- Wireless technologies (802.11x).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, SASE).
- Exposure to voice/data convergence, QoS, PBX (Avaya, Zoom Phone).
- Automation & scripting knowledge β a plus.
- ITIL framework experience is desirable.
