500 – 550 per day + INSIDE IR35Salesforce Technical ArchitectAs Salesforce Technical Architect, you will provide technical leadership across the Salesforce ecosystem, reviewing and enhancing the current architecture while ensuring the platform remains stable, scalable, maintainable, and fit for future growth.You will evaluate existing custom Apex code, Lightning Components, Flows, integrations, and platform configurations to identify architectural weaknesses, technical debt, and opportunities for optimisation. Working closely with development and business teams, you will determine what should be retained, standardised, refactored, or retired, creating a pragmatic target-state architecture and phased improvement plan.The role will also focus on improving software engineering practices, including source control, environments, release management, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes. A key objective is to enable smaller, safer, and more predictable releases whilst maintaining platform reliability and supporting ongoing business delivery.This is not a purely strategic architecture position. You will remain hands-on, capable of prototyping solutions, validating architectural decisions, and supporting complex technical challenges while maintaining overarching ownership of the platform’s direction.Own the technical architecture of a complex Salesforce platformAssess and modernise existing Salesforce solutions and custom developmentsDefine and deliver a long-term architectural roadmapIdentify and address technical debt and platform risksImprove platform stability, scalability, maintainability, and observabilityLead architecture reviews and technical governance activitiesDrive improvements across CI/CD, release management, testing, and development standardsMentor and provide technical leadership to development teamsCollaborate with stakeholders to balance immediate business needs with long-term platform healthSupport the transition towards more frequent, lower-risk software releasesKey Skills & ExperienceExtensive experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Lead Salesforce ArchitectDeep knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and best practicesStrong hands-on development experience with:
ApexLightning Web Components (LWC)Salesforce FlowsSalesforce APIs and integrationsExperience working within complex, heavily customised Salesforce environmentsProven ability to assess and modernise legacy or brownfield Salesforce implementationsStrong understanding of Salesforce security, data modelling, and governanceExperience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutionsKnowledge of DevOps practices, including:
