The IT Manager will be responsible for the provision of IT services across the organization in the UK. In this responsibility, the position is to ensure the availability of IT infrastructure services and applications according to the IT standards and the local business demands.
This is a Hands-on IT Manager role – This would ideally suit someone that comes from an IT Infrastructure background. For this role, you must be willing/able to travel to other sites across the UK 1-2 weeks per month. Hybrid working – 3 days on site.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Manage and coordinate IT activities for the UK organization
- Maintain IT policies/procedures in accordance with IT policies and procedures
- Ensuring IT infrastructure and systems availability, IT Operations and IT service management
- Identifies and audit risk concerns. Develops and executes steps to mitigate them
- Ensure IT documentations are up to date and meet quality standards
- Provide disaster recovery processes and procedures
- Ensure IT compliance and high Cybersecurity standards
- Consult internal and external customers on digital solutions and IT solutions that support local and central business processes in the most efficient way
- Actively participate in assessments and audits (Internal & External)
- Cooperate with HR to conduct IT training plans for all users in the UK organisation
- Evaluate the impact of these training programs and adapt future trainings
- Responsibility for the overall IT budget to realize the local IT roadmap and ensure timely submission of financial data to the local Controllers
- Measure performance, evaluate reports
Other Key Skills/Experience
- Bachelor or Diploma in Information & Communication Technology or relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of IT working experience preferably in a manufacturing company
- Minimum 5 years relevant project management experience leading projects
- Good Prioritisation and communication skills
- Attention to detail
