Job Description

IT Business Applications Support

Our client is looking for an Business Applications Support Analyst to join immediately on a contract basis. The role will be Hybrid working and be initially 3 to 6 months with long term extension thereafter.

£225 – 250 p/day

Key Experience & Responsibilities

  • Support of Business Applications – provide assistance on a daily basis when required.
  • Becoming a fully competent systems administrator in a variety of key business applications such as the Finance system, In-House Applications and Point of sales systems.
  • Manage helpdesk tickets using internal helpdesk system
  • Work with Application providers to ensure smooth running of systems and that SLA's are adhered to
  • Able to troubleshoot issues in order to identify the root cause in order to provide a solution
  • Continuously review and improve existing application support processes and ensure that documentation is kept updated
  • Work as directed on any other business projects and tasks required by the business with the aim of supporting the UK's business strategy and financial objective
  • Provide some basic technical IT support to the Business when required
  • Support the Business Change team for system changes and projects as required
  • Responsible for understanding and implementing system configuration required in support of new or changed functionality
  • Assist with the User Acceptance testing of new or changed functionality, identifying test areas and writing test scripts
