Our client is looking for an experienced IT Engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery, and ongoing operation of our cloud and infrastructure platforms. This role will support our clients' technology strategy by ensuring secure, resilient, and cost-effective IT services aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure based Cloud Infrastructure, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and providing 2nd/3rd line operational support across the IT estate. Working closely with IT Operations, Applications, Change, and Delivery teams, you will help maintain and enhance a robust pipeline of operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
- Collaborate on cloud migration strategies and the design of new IT platforms
- Deliver 2nd/3rd line operational support, including coordination with third-party providers
- Monitor, optimise, and manage cloud performance, availability, and costs
- Provide technical input and implementation support for infrastructure changes, including participation in CAB
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and cyber security controls in line with regulatory requirements
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and services
- Proven experience supporting complex IT environments within regulated or enterprise settings
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and infrastructure governance
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
