Senior Technology Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to join a leading global organisation, supporting a UK-based business within a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and deliver end-to-end technology and solution architectures.
- Lead architecture governance and design authorities for major projects and programmes.
- Develop architecture patterns, solution designs and technical infrastructure designs.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technology solutions.
- Provide architectural assurance, risk management and technical leadership.
- Influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical decisions effectively.
- Support technology strategy, platform modernisation and legacy system retirement.
- Lead technology evaluations, RFI/RFP processes and supplier assurance.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to other architects.
Key experience:
- Senior-level architecture experience across infrastructure, cloud and application technologies.
- Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, hybrid cloud and enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, networking, databases and security technologies.
- Experience with integration and middleware technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, Boomi, JBoss or WebLogic.
- Strong understanding of security, resilience, high availability and performance.
- Experience working within regulated environments, architecture governance and design authorities.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps, CI/CD and tools such as Jira and Confluence. xgikmsk
