Account Manager at Proactis Ltd is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts across the company’s procurement SaaS portfolio. This role is central to driving net revenue retention, deepening strategic relationships, and identifying and executing expansion opportunities within the existing client base.
Working closely with Customer Success, Sales and Professional Services teams, the Account Manager serves as the primary commercial point of contact for a defined set of accounts — responsible for both protecting and growing account value. The role requires strong commercial acumen, executive-level stakeholder management, and the ability to translate customer objectives into tailored Proactis solutions.
The Account Manager will own the commercial relationship across their portfolio, including account planning, executive business reviews, expansion pipeline development, and contract growth. Success in this role demands a consultative, growth-oriented mindset, deep product knowledge, and the ability to manage complex strategic accounts in a competitive SaaS environment.
- Own a defined portfolio of strategic Proactis accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key decision-makers across procurement, finance, and IT.
- Build and maintain multi-threaded executive relationships across assigned accounts, conducting regular Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and strategic account planning sessions aligned to customer objectives and growth whitespace.
- Act as the primary escalation point for commercial issues within assigned accounts, coordinating with Customer Success, Product, Professional Services and Support to drive swift resolution and protect account health.
- Develop and manage an expansion pipeline across assigned accounts, identifying upsell opportunities (additional modules, users, services) and cross-sell motions across the Proactis product suite.
- Lead commercial conversations with senior stakeholders, building compelling business cases and ROI narratives that support expansion investment decisions.
- Drive and own renewal conversations for assigned account portfolio, including multi-year deal structuring and price uplifts.
