To read and review tender notices to the agreed level of accuracy to ensure Tenders Direct customers receive the tenders notices most relevant to their business.

Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Ensure tenders are reviewed accurately and dispatched within the agreed timescale every day
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and efficiently when required
  • Provide cover as required for publishing team, sourcing tenders and copying them to internal systems
  • Provide training for the review process and systems for new starts and other key stakeholders, to the standards defined by the Tender Review Specialist and the Publishing and Review Manager
  • Identify improvements to work practices and suggest possible IT or service improvements, with a focus on Tenders Direct

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Proven experience in a customer support role
  • Highly developed telephone communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and web based knowledge
