Company Overview

Proactis is a leading Source-to-Pay software provider for mid-market organisations across service-led industries. Our platform enables customers to control spend, reduce risk, improve compliance and drive efficiency through digitisation. We are a Private Equity-backed business with a clear focus on accelerating revenue growth through high-quality pipeline and strong commercial execution.

The Role

This role sits within the Demand Generation function and is responsible for converting inbound interest into qualified sales opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers who have engaged with Proactis through marketing activity, events or direct enquiry. The focus is on responding quickly, qualifying effectively and ensuring that only well-defined, high-potential opportunities are passed into the sales team. This is a critical role in the revenue engine. Success is measured not by activity volume, but by the quality of conversations and the pipeline created.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound enquiries across web, email and phone, ensuring timely and professional engagement
  • Assess prospect fit, challenges and intent, and convert suitable leads into Sales Accepted Leads
  • Schedule high-quality discovery meetings for Account Executives, with clear context and qualification
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and nurture prospects who are not yet ready to progress
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and clear pipeline visibility

Over time, there may be opportunities to support targeted outbound activity as part of broader development.

Profile

This role is suited to an early-career individual looking to build a foundation in SaaS sales within a structured, performance-driven environment. You will demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgement and a disciplined approach to managing workload and follow-up. You are credible in conversation, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and able to quickly understand and articulate business problems. We value curiosity, accountability and a genuine interest in commercial outcomes over prior experience.

Why Join Proactis

You will join a growth-focused organisation where pipeline generation and deal quality are central to success. The role offers clear progression into broader sales roles, alongside exposure to experienced commercial, marketing and presales teams.
