About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join our growing consultancy. In this role, you will deliver high quality, practical HR support to a diverse client base while working closely with HR Consultants on a range of projects and casework. You will play a key role in helping organisations navigate people challenges with confidence, providing clear, commercially focused advice across a broad range of HR matters. This is a varied client facing role combining HR advisory work, case management support, recruitment activity, training delivery, and involvement in wider HR projects and consultancy work.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Advisory & Client Delivery: Provide day to day HR advice on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance. Support casework, investigations, and advisory meetings, ensuring compliance with employment law and accurate documentation. Work closely with HR Consultants to deliver high quality support across a varied client base, responding to queries and contributing to projects.
- Client Relationships & Growth: Build strong, trusted client relationships and act as a key HR contact. Maintain consistent communication, deliver a high standard of service, and identify opportunities to add value and support long term client engagement.
- Recruitment & Manager Support: Support end to end recruitment, from job design through to screening and interviews. Guide managers on best practices and contribute to improving recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- HR Operations, Projects & Development: Prepare HR documentation, support policy development, and maintain up to date employment law knowledge. Assist with HR systems and reporting, contribute to audits and projects, and support continuous improvement. Coach managers and help develop HR resources and training materials.
- Events & Networking: Represent the organisation at events, support business development activity, and share insights with the wider team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor (or similar HR generalist) role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, solutions focused approach
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience)
