Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and Maintenance Engineer to join our established team based in Marlow. This field‑based role primarily covers a 50‑mile radius, though willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend sites for scheduled maintenance.
- Respond to emergency call‑outs, including out‑of‑hours on a rota basis.
- Service fire alarms and extinguishers.
- Maintain a high standard of client care in face‑to‑face interactions, telephone calls, and emails.
- Ensure compliance with systems.
- Optimize efficiencies by combining geography (travel time) and time required on‑site per task.
- Record all activities on company software systems, capturing photos and report sheets.
- Provide first‑class support and feedback to a diverse client base.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Proven experience in all aspects of Active Fire Alarms and Maintenance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel with possible overnight stays when requested.
- Experience and high‑level working knowledge of Apollo, Gent, Notifier & Advanced systems.
- Electrical background.
- Clean driving licence.
- Capable of fault finding across conventional and addressable systems.
