Pro4orm People Ltd are partnering with an SME pharmaceutical company in the search of an experienced and innovative Brand Manager. The Brand Manager role will include involvement in the development and responsibility of delivering brand plans for one of their branded generics. This role requires working in tight collaboration with the marketing manager, business unit director, sales and marketing teams. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute significant involvement of the brand plan and take ownership for the delivery of the operational/tactical brand plan.
- Involvement in measuring value, impact, and return on investment of all marketing activities and ensure effective use of marketing budget.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant medical, scientific and general information relating to our clients’ products.
- Support the development of strategic communications and/or training materials for internal and external customers on current projects and tactics, working with medical colleagues to ensure the highest level of scientific credibility in all communications.
- Keep abreast of trends in commercial initiatives relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and ensure opportunities are maximised where relevant to our client.
- Develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the efficient and effective delivery of projects.
To be considered
- Have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of UK compliance requirements, specifically the ABPI code of practice.
- Solid experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in a marketing role with increasing responsibility, preferably as a Product/Brand Manager with product responsibility and strong expertise in branded promotional activities.
- Ability to review and analyse appropriate market data from a wide range of sources including IQVIA and NHS BSA.
- Have a willingness to constructively challenge the status-quo and put forward alternative/new ways of working to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness.
- Results oriented and with analytical, business planning, communication and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of the NHS landscape and pharmaceutical market, health policy trends and climate as well as regulations and codes of practices.
- Experienced Brand Manager from an SME environment, with full 360 and marketing responsibility for a brand/product portfolio.
- Proactive, driven and willingness to learn.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Creative thinker.
- Experience in managing budgets.
- Experience within respiratory would be desirable.
