A day in the life of a NIGHT SHIFT Class 1 Shunter Driver will involve moving trailers safely and efficiently around the yard, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle checks, following site procedures, and maintaining high health and safety standards at all times. The role requires excellent awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. The warehouse has a welcoming and supportive environment, with management available to assist whenever needed. All colleagues work together with a collaborative approach to achieve the same goal.

Work location: LE10 3FF – Hinckley

Shift Pattern:

  • Start times between 4:00PM and 6:00PM
  • Weekend availability required

Pay: £18.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No points on licence
  • Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential
  • Previous shunter driving experience preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and punctual
