Class 2 Refuse Driver
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team for a client based in Atherstone .
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 15:00
- 37 hours per week at Β£14.82 per hour
- 4.5 overtime hours per week paid at Β£22.33 per hour
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
- Minimum age of 25 years (for insurance purposes).
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- A valid Category C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Capable of driving in busy urban, residential and restricted-access areas safely and confidently.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team.
Duties
- Operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
- Working alongside refuse collection crews to provide an efficient waste collection service.
- Following all road traffic regulations and health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with colleagues and members of the public.
