About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and organized Account Manager to join a busy print and production environment. This is a full-cycle account management role, taking print jobs from initial quote through to completion. The successful candidate will manage customer relationships, process job cards, coordinate stock ordering, oversee production timelines and ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time. All communication is handled via phone and email, so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. This is a fast-paced position suited to somebody who can manage multiple priorities, work proactively and take ownership of their workload without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client accounts and maintaining strong working relationships
- Handling print jobs from quote through to completion
- Processing and managing job cards accurately
- Ordering stock and coordinating materials required for production
- Liaising with suppliers, production teams and customers
- Managing approximately 30-40 client accounts
- Overseeing 10-15 live jobs at any one time
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule
- Handling all customer communication via telephone and email
- Resolving issues quickly and professionally
- Keeping internal systems and job records updated
Requirements
- Previous experience within the print, production or signage industry preferred
- Experience managing projects or accounts from start to finish
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads in a busy environment
- Self-motivated with good initiative
- Confident communication skills over phone and email
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple live projects
- Stable and consistent employment history preferred
