Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented DTF Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing machines to produce high-quality prints for a variety of applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with DTF technology, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate DTF printing machines to produce high-quality prints on film for transfer onto garments or other substrates.
- Load and adjust film rolls, inks, and other materials as needed.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure accurate color reproduction, consistent quality, and minimal waste.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on DTF machines, including cleaning and replacing parts, as needed.
- Inspect finished prints to ensure they meet quality standards, including checking for color accuracy, resolution, and print clarity.
- Maintain detailed records of production runs, including machine settings, print quality, and any issues or maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time and meet customer specifications.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures while working with machinery and materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a DTF Machine Operator or in a similar printing/production role preferred.
- Knowledge of DTF printing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues effectively.
- Familiarity with color management and print quality control.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and repair.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials up to (X) pounds.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other printing technologies (e.g., DTG, screen printing, sublimation).
- Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for file preparation and adjustments.
