This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing national VAT & Indirect Tax team within a forward-thinking firm.
Your new role:
As a VAT Manager, you\’ll support the Senior Manager and Partners in delivering high-level VAT advisory work to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors. You\’ll lead on your own projects, manage relationships, and identify opportunities for value-added advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering complex VAT and Indirect Tax advisory projects
- Managing your own portfolio and responding to ad hoc VAT queries
- Reviewing technical work and providing support to junior staff
- Identifying planning opportunities and risk areas within client portfolios
- Keeping up to date with relevant case law, HMRC guidance, and legislation changes
- Supporting business development and contributing to the firm\’s VAT growth strategy
About you:
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience in VAT advisory, ideally within practice
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of VAT matters
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and manage workflows
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations
- CTA or equivalent qualification preferred
