Overview

We are working exclusively on behalf of a well-established firm to identify a qualified and commercially minded Associate VAT Director/ Partner, with a clear pathway to step into the Head of VAT role in the near future. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a growing VAT service line, lead internal business development activity, and build a high-performing team in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified VAT professional with broad technical experience across UK compliance and advisory services, as well as a good awareness of international VAT issues.

Responsibilities

In addition to delivery, this is a highly visible leadership role. You will play an integral part in developing junior members of the team and promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture. You\’ll be involved in new business generation, lead on commercial proposals, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective cross-departmental service delivery. The firm is seeking someone who can operate with a high level of autonomy, drive revenue growth, and set the standard for technical excellence in VAT. This opportunity would suit an experienced Director or Junior Partner looking to build out a practice area and step into a Head of VAT role in the medium term.
