We are working exclusively on behalf of a well‑established firm to identify a qualified and commercially minded Associate VAT Director/ Partner, with a clear pathway to step into the Head of VAT role in the near future. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a growing VAT service line, lead internal business development activity, and build a high‑performing team in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified VAT professional with broad technical experience across UK compliance and advisory services, as well as a good awareness of international VAT issues.

In addition to delivery, this is a highly visible leadership role. You will play an integral part in developing junior members of the team and promoting a collaborative and high‑performing culture. You\’ll be involved in new business generation, lead on commercial proposals, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective cross‑departmental service delivery.

The firm is seeking someone who can operate with a high level of autonomy, drive revenue growth, and set the standard for technical excellence in VAT. This opportunity would suit an experienced Director or Junior Partner looking to build out a practice area and step into a Head of VAT role in the medium term.
