I'm supporting a Top 10 accountancy and advisory firm with the hire of a US/UK Tax Senior Associate into its established and growing Private Client team in London. This role is ideal for a US/UK tax professional who wants to deepen their transatlantic tax expertise while working in a collaborative, partner‑led environment that genuinely invests in development and progression.
Opportunity
As a US/UK Tax Senior Associate, you'll work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high‑quality tax compliance and support advisory work for internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs and transatlantic clients. You'll gain strong exposure across both US and UK personal tax, supported by structured training, on‑the‑job learning and study support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing US and UK tax returns using client data from multiple sources
- Sense‑checking client positions and explaining tax outcomes clearly
- Managing double taxation issues, foreign tax credits and income sourcing
- Identifying US and UK filing obligations and ownership implications
- Reviewing straightforward tax returns and self‑reviewing work
- Identifying missing information and flagging risks or issues to managers
