We are working with a leading Top 10 accountancy firm on a confidential search for an experienced US Corporate Tax Partner to join its growing international tax practice. The practice has a strong market reputation and is looking to further build its US offering in London.
The Opportunity
- Help shape and grow the firm's US Corporate Tax offering in London
- Work with an established portfolio of US and US-connected clients
- Develop relationships across private equity, hedge funds and alternative asset management
- Advise on a broad range of US tax matters, including M&A, transactional support, compliance, reporting and financial instruments
- Leverage the firm's extensive international network and cross-border referral opportunities
- Work closely with an experienced US tax leadership team and wider Corporate Tax practice
- Play a key role in driving the continued growth and market profile of the US tax business
The Team
The US Tax team has a strong track record advising clients across private equity, hedge funds and the wider alternative asset management sector, with expertise spanning transactional support, compliance, reporting, financial instruments and operational tax. The practice provides an established platform, strong international connectivity and significant scope for an ambitious US Corporate Tax Partner to develop their own client base and further grow the firm's US offering.
About You
We are keen to speak with established US Corporate Tax Partners or senior Directors who have:
- Strong technical expertise across US Corporate Tax
- Experience advising US businesses, groups and/or US-connected investment structures
- A track record across private equity, asset management, financial services or wider US corporate clients
- An established network and demonstrable business development capability
- The ambition to build and grow a significant US tax practice
- A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach
