A Family Office is seeking an experienced Trust Administrator to join its team based in London’s West End. This is an excellent opportunity for a trust professional looking to develop their career within a collaborative and technically strong environment, working across a varied portfolio of family and charitable trusts and estates.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for the administration and compliance of a portfolio of trusts and estates, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Duties will include:
    • Managing day-to-day trust and estate administration
    • Preparing trust accounts and income tax returns
    • Calculating inheritance tax charges, capital gains tax liabilities and trust distributions
    • Managing and reconciling trust bank accounts
    • Preparing beneficiary payments, R185s and related documentation
    • Liaising with clients, stockbrokers, HMRC and other professional advisers
    • Assisting with trust fund distributions and beneficiaries attaining absolute interests
    • Preparing cashflow reports and maintaining accurate records
    • Keeping up to date with changes in trust and tax legislation

About You

  • We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual with:
    • Previous experience in trust and estate administration
    • Knowledge of trust taxation, accounting and compliance requirements
    • Experience preparing trust accounts and tax returns
    • STEP qualified
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
    • A solid understanding of trust structures and beneficiary requirements
    • Experience with CCH Trust Accounts, CCH Central and Accounts Production software
