If you would like to forge a career in the Investment Management sector, this is the perfect first move from practice or HMRC, or indeed a compliance/delivery role in house. This role is strategic and advisory, plus requires a lot of networking and chairing meetings with key Investment sector decision makers, so it would suit someone who enjoys relationship building as much as technical tax work. You will be at the cutting edge of Tax Policy and regulation within the sector, and this is a great stepping stone role to leadership positions within the industry.

We are looking for:

  • Ideally, some experience in investment management taxation, or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and the wider policy landscape affecting investment taxation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate tax-related concepts to internal and external stakeholders in ways that can be understood by non-experts.
  • To be able to work with the Head of Tax to think strategically and identify and address emerging issues for members.
  • Experience working with trade associations, policymakers, and regulators would be an advantage.
  • ACA, ACCA, CTA or other forms of accounting or tax-related qualification would be an advantage.
