As an Assistant Manager, you will gain significant exposure to complex tax reporting and high-profile audits across FTSE, AIM-listed, private equity-backed and international groups. The role offers hands-on involvement in technical areas including tax consolidations, GAAP conversions, carve-out accounting and acquisition accounting. Working directly with clients and senior technical specialists – without reliance on offshore compliance centres – you will develop deep expertise across a broad range of tax and tax accounting matters while building strong stakeholder relationships.
You will manage a diverse audit client portfolio, support project delivery, and coach junior team members, developing both technical and leadership skills. We welcome applications from newly or recently qualified auditors interested in transitioning into tax, or tax professionals seeking to specialise in tax reporting and audit of tax.
Key Requirements- Minimum 3 years’ audit and/or tax experience within a Big Four or mid-tier firm
- ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong project management and client-facing experience
- Experience coaching junior team members
