Your Role

As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering both compliance and advisory services.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end US tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing and reviewing US tax returns of varying complexity
  • Advising clients on US and UK tax matters, including residency and cross-border issues
  • Supporting projects involving domicile, residence and international tax planning considerations
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring high-quality client delivery
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
  • Coaching and mentoring more junior colleagues
  • Working closely with specialists across different service lines and international offices

What We're Looking For:

  • EA and ATT qualified
  • Strong experience within US/UK private client tax
  • Proven experience preparing and reviewing US tax returns
  • Strong technical knowledge across private client taxation
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • A proactive approach and desire to continue developing within a specialist area
