A leading Big 4 firm is looking to appoint a Senior Manager within its Real Estate Deals VAT team, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced VAT professional to join a market-leading practice. This is a highly advisory-focused role, working with major real estate investors, developers, funds and corporate clients on complex transactions and providing strategic VAT advice throughout the deal lifecycle.
The Role
- Advising on VAT implications of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and developments
- Providing VAT due diligence and transaction support
- Advising on property transactions, financing and investment structures
- Supporting clients with VAT structuring and planning
- Managing senior client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
- Leading projects and working closely with wider deal teams across tax and transactions
- Identifying business development opportunities and supporting the growth of the team
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team
About You
- Strong UK VAT / Indirect Tax experience
- Significant experience advising on real estate and/or transactions
- Strong technical VAT knowledge combined with a commercial approach
- Experience working directly with senior clients and stakeholders
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- A track record of contributing to business development
- CTA qualified or equivalent professional experience
