I'm currently working with a leading tax advisory practice that is looking to bring in talent to their tax valuations business. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who enjoys valuations to gain more experience or someone who is commercially minded that would like to focus on valuations.
Your new firm: A Tax Advisory Consultancy that provides a range of tax advisory services to the mid market. A unique offering to a traditional general practice, this firm provides a different working environment compared to working at an accountancy firm. A growing team of 120+ tax advisers with 7 offices, with lots of exciting plans in the pipeline.
Your new role:
- Prepare and review valuations for tax purposes, including tax-advantaged option plans, employment-related securities, Capital Gains Tax transactions, probate, and corporate reorganisations.
- Apply appropriate valuation methodologies to a range of share types, such as ordinary shares, growth shares, and ratchet shares.
- Advise clients on the tax implications of equity reward structures, including employment-related securities and share schemes.
- Support tax due diligence projects by identifying and quantifying risks related to equity incentives and share schemes.
- Manage annual compliance processes for employment-related securities and tax-advantaged share schemes.
- Lead client engagements and contribute to the development of junior team members through coaching and technical guidance.
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Suitable qualification including CTA, ATT, ACCA or ACA.
- Experience or exposure to tax valuations.
- Audit background and want to move into something different.
- Commercially minded, understanding how business valuations work.
