Our client is a progressive, fast‑growing advisory firm with offices across the UK. Known for their entrepreneurial approach and hands‑on style, they work closely with ambitious business owners, providing creative tax solutions and strategic advice. With a strong national presence and a reputation for high‑quality client work, this is an opportunity to join an experienced, close‑knit Tax Advisory team and play a key role in delivering complex and rewarding projects.
Your new role:
As a Tax Advisory Senior Manager, you'll work closely with Tax Directors, supporting a varied portfolio of larger and more complex clients and delivering bespoke tax advisory work. You'll gain exposure across multiple areas of advisory and compliance – from business reorganisations to employee ownership and acquisition planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working alongside Directors to deliver high‑quality advisory and compliance services
- Advising OMBs on tax planning, acquisitions and disposals, share schemes, EOTs, and remuneration planning
- Handling HMRC enquiries and investigations, reviewing junior advice, and conducting financial analysis and technical research
- Acting as a technical resource for partner firms, providing email and phone support
- Supporting, managing, and mentoring junior team members
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualification
- Experience advising OMBs on corporation tax, income tax, and capital gains tax
- A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
- Confidence to deliver technical advice and build long‑term client relationships (Exposure to VAT issues is a bonus, but not essential)
