Your new firm: This Top 10 firm has built a strong reputation for its advisory-led approach and collaborative culture. With continued investment in its national tax offering, the firm is expanding its Partnership Tax team to support a growing client base of professional partnerships, LLPs, and entrepreneurial businesses. You will be joining a forward-thinking practice that values expertise, initiative, and client service - where your voice will be heard and your impact recognised.
Your new role: As Associate Director, you will be a key figure in delivering complex partnership tax advice across sectors including legal, financial services, property & private equity. You will work closely with Directors and Partners to shape the team’s growth, contribute to business development, and ensure high-quality delivery across both compliance and advisory work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading client engagements and managing a portfolio of professional partnerships and LLPs
- Delivering high-level tax advisory work including structuring, profit allocations, and partner tax matters
- Reviewing complex partnership tax computations and returns
- Supporting junior team members with technical development and coaching
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for added value
- Liaising with HMRC on enquiries and technical matters
- Contributing to internal strategy and helping drive growth in the partnership tax offering
- Collaborating with other service lines to deliver joined-up solutions to clients
To be successful in this role you will need:
You will be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong experience in partnership tax, ideally gained in a mid-tier or large firm. You will be confident managing client relationships, delivering technical advice, and mentoring junior staff. A proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills are key.
