A specialist tax & accounting firm based in the West End of London is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their private client team, specialising in tax, trusts & estates.
About the role:
- Manage a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients.
- Provide ad hoc planning and advisory support to the directors.
- Compliance tasks include preparation of trust accounts, trust self-assessment tax returns, R185s, IHT returns, estate tax returns, and personal tax returns.
- Engage in diverse, interesting, and challenging ad hoc planning and advisory work.
About you:
- Hold an accountancy or tax qualification such as CTA, ACA or TEP.
- Be at senior level looking for a route to manager level and beyond, or a manager seeking their next step.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and in person.
- Ability to explain complex areas of tax to clients in straightforward and understandable language.
- Be flexible and a team player, able to handle your own portfolio of complex clients while assisting others as required.
