I’ve been selected to support a Top 10 accountancy and advisory firm with the appointment of a Private Client Tax Director into its highly regarded Private Wealth team in London. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a senior private client specialist looking to operate at Director level within a partner‑led, people‑focused firm, offering both influence and a clear pathway toward Partnership.

The Opportunity

As a Private Client Tax Director, you will play a key role in the continued growth of the Private Wealth team, advising a high‑quality client base on complex private client matters while shaping the future direction of the practice. You’ll work closely with Partners, but this is very much a Director level role with autonomy, client ownership and visibility across the firm.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Advising HNW/UHNW individuals, families and private clients on complex UK and international tax matters
  • Managing and growing a significant client portfolio
  • Driving advisory work and new opportunities from existing clients
  • Supporting business development and new client wins
  • Mentoring and developing Managers and Senior Managers
  • Playing an active role in the strategic growth of the Private Wealth offering

About You

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is operating at Director level (or an established Senior Manager ready to step up)
  • Is CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Has strong private client advisory experience from practice
  • Enjoys developing both people and client relationships
  • Is commercially minded with long‑term ambition
