An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Private Client Tax Manager to join a growing and ambitious Private Client team in London. This role offers the chance to work with a broad range of high-net-worth individuals, internationally mobile clients, family offices, and offshore structures on complex and interesting UK and international tax matters, while being part of a highly collaborative and supportive environment.

Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients and deliver both advisory and compliance services across a range of international private client issues. The role will involve advising clients moving to and from the UK, supporting succession and estate planning matters, and assisting with asset protection structures involving trusts and companies. You will also provide advice in relation to capital gains tax, inheritance tax, the Foreign Income and Gains regime, the Temporary Repatriation Facility, and the Statutory Residence Test.

Alongside your client responsibilities, you will liaise with trustees, offshore fiduciary providers, and family office teams, as well as collaborate with colleagues across other service lines to provide a holistic service offering. You will oversee the work of junior team members, support their technical and personal development, and play an active role in maintaining and developing client and intermediary relationships.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a professional services environment, with strong exposure to international private client matters and a good balance of advisory and compliance experience. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and an interest in business development are important, as is the ability to build trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues. CTA qualification is preferred, although ACA and other relevant professional qualifications will also be considered.
