I'm currently working with a leading tax consultancy based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager.
Your new role:
- Manage relationships with private clients, providing tailored and commercially focused tax advice.
- Deliver proactive planning across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Advise on complex matters including residency, domicile, trusts, and offshore considerations.
- Support clients on transactions such as property, investments, and business disposals from a tax perspective.
- Oversee personal tax compliance, reviewing returns to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Handle complex queries arising from compliance work and provide practical solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for HMRC enquiries, investigations, and disclosures.
- Identify tax risks and ensure clients remain compliant with current legislation.
- Build strong relationships with intermediaries such as financial advisers and legal professionals.
- Spot opportunities to provide additional advisory services and support business development activity.
- Mentor and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- ACA, ATT, CTA or ACCA qualified.
- UK private client tax experience.
- Experience working with business owners and HNWIs.
- Personal tax advisory & compliance experience.
